The stories in this book are about young men fighting a war. It tells how they fought, played, cried and how they made friends for life.

Young men from all walks of life that went to war knowing that they could die at any time, but they went anyway and as the Bible says in (Psalm 23 they walked into the Valley of death.)

They went into a war as boys and came back men. I was privileged to have served with many of these brave young men, and even though we are no longer young men, we are older men with stories to tell and I thank them for their stories.
